The Lighthouse is a story of slipping sanity and homoerotic tension between tween heartthrobs Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe. Jeff’s review mirrors this slow decline into madness, skillfully playing with the line between terrifying lunacy and laughable idiocy.
Jeff seems to like the movie, and why shouldn’t he? It has all the hallmarks of a Jeff movie. I haven’t heard of it, it’s not at a theater near me, and it’s in black and white for no reason other than making sure the audience knows it is being treated to some high-brow, fair trade, artisan bullshit.
