Jeff Hates Tarantino So Much He Forgets That He Had Nothing To Do With The Irishman

Jeff’s newest post finishes out his 12 Days of Cinema series, which ended the day after Christmas, just like in the Bible.

“12 Days of Cinema: The Irishman” is a critique of not only the Netflix original movie centered around Jimmy Hoffa’s quest to continue touching Frank Sheeran’s daughter way too much, but also the conventions of modern grammar. It’s a real trudge to get through this one, which boasts a runtime nearly that of the actual movie with none of the charming muttering and half-smiling De Niro brings to the film.

Once again, Jeff chooses to insult Tarantino rather than talk about the movie in the title. I do have to say, however, that it was a bold move to only talk about the movie for a fraction of the review. Opting to instead complain about Tarantino’s ego and the existence of Netflix is an interesting choice that may have paid off if I hadn’t decided to hate everything Jeff does before he does it.

It’s a shame, really, because the biggest issue in the movie never shows up in Jeff’s review. Despite what the movie may imply, Jimmy Hoffa was actually killed by Edward Wayne Edwards. That’s right, the serial killer convicted of five murders had several victims that could not be proven, which include JonBenet Ramsey, the Black Dahlia, and of course, Jimmy Hoffa.

Also, he and Ted Cruz worked together to be the Zodiac Killer, which served as the inspiration to the big twist at the end of Scream.

Final Verdict: 12 out of 12 days of Christmas
